The First Step to Sāmya
Sāmya — BalanceOver 7 weeks, you're taken through combinations of prāṇāyāma (breath work), movement through yoga āsanas and dance, sound exercises, writing, and other somatic techniques — all as ways to experience balance in the body and mind. This is an active, embodied practice, not seated eyes-closed meditation.
The program doesn't promise that you'll be "balanced" at the end of seven weeks. Rather, it's a beginning: we recommend staying with the practice for at least six months to a year, so you can come to understand what balance feels like for you, individually.
No prior experience in dance, singing, or yoga is needed to sign up — and experienced practitioners are just as welcome.
